Dear William Paca Families,

Welcome to William Paca Elementary School!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the new principal of this wonderful school community. I am excited to partner with our students, families, staff, and community members as we continue the important work of supporting every child's success.

Returning to Prince George's County Public Schools is especially meaningful to me. More than twenty years ago, I began my educational career as a teacher in PGCPS. Coming back as principal of William Paca Elementary School is truly a full-circle moment and feels like coming home.

My goal is to continue building strong relationships among teachers, staff, families, and community partners while fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and connected. Together, we will build upon the many strengths of William Paca and work collaboratively to increase student achievement, strengthen academic outcomes, and ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

I firmly believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school. To support open communication and collaboration, I will be hosting "Tea & Talk with Dr. A" sessions for both staff and families throughout the school year. These informal gatherings will provide opportunities to share ideas, celebrate successes, discuss concerns, and strengthen our partnerships in support of students.

At William Paca, we believe that when schools, families, and communities work together, students thrive. I look forward to listening, learning, and partnering with you as we create a culture of excellence where every child can succeed.
