Uniform Policy

Uniforms are mandatory at Heather Hills Elementary School.

Uniform Requirements

Bottoms/Dresses

• Navy pants - Chino or Twill style (no blue jeans, leggins or yoga pants)
• Navy long pants, knee length shorts, skorts, jumpers (shorts under)
• Navy dresses (solid color polo dress, solid color jumper dress or navy jumper dress with white shirt)

Tops

• White shirts, blouses, long sleeve turtleneck shirt, polo type shirts with no logos or emblems
• Navy or white sweaters/vests or pull over/HHES sweatshirt over white uniform shirt
• Only navy blue colored jackets and fleece can be worn in the building. All other coats/jackets should be removed upon entering the building.

Shoes & Accessories

• Navy or black belt - when needed
• Socks, stockings, tights, or hose may only be in solid school colors of blue, white, or black. Clear or skin-colored hose are also acceptable. Fishnet or other patterned stockings or hose are not permitted. Stockings, tights, or hose must cover the full length of the student’s legs and feet – leg warmers are not permitted.
• Shoes and winter boots
  • Shoes must be closed-toe. For safety reasons we do not authorize the use of Crocs, slides, or high heels. The school will not assume liability for injuries based on the wear of these shoes.

If your scholar comes to school out of uniform, you will be notified and need to bring your child a change of clothes.
